Kathy N: Depends on how you define close. We've been talking for a few years...5 maybe.

Lyss R: I've only been with one other guy. He's so experienced.

Lyss R: We already talked, he knows that I I don't want to have sex yet. He said he's ok with it, but a lot of guys say that and don't really mean it.

Kathy N: Well, I'm bi actually. But I'm not really sure when I knew. I'd say I KNEW about 5 years agoish. But I questioned since about 4th to 6th grade.
Kathy N: Then I got a bf and completely forgot that I ever questioned. Lol...until we broke up.
Lyss R: Gosh. How did your parents take it?
Kathy N: Pretty hard. But they're cool with it now. I mean...cool with my gf and I. But I think if we ever broke up I'd have to start all over again. I think it's just because they like her so much that they've become accustomed to it.
Lyss R: I'd be so scared to tell my parents. I smoked once and I was paranoid that they would find out. Lol

Kathy N: Anyway, that's enough about me. How long have you and Jess known each other?
Lyss R: About three weeks. But we live about 2 and a half hours away from each other, so most of the time we are talking on the phone or the net, but, and maybe this is stupid, I feel like I've gotten to know him on a deeper level since we don't have all that physical attraction in the way.
Kathy N: It's not stupid, makes sense to me.

Lyss R: He's talked about you guys before a little bit. Seems very fond of the both of you, but he keeps joking about me having to pass "the friend test" and everyone else has failed.

Kathy N: Only the psychos have failed. And there's not really a friend test. Ha. Jess dates who he wants. With the exception of this one time when I kept referring to his gf as blond bitch.

Lyss R: All his gfs have probably been gorgeous. I hate that I'll have to compete.

Lyss R: He was making fun of me on the phone when he was a little drunk the other night. He keeps making fun of my "trashy love novels" just because I like to read romance.

Kathy N: Yes, a girl should. What kind of trashy love novels?
Lyss R: LOL. Um, well I like this trilogy, it's called the dream trilogy, it's about these sisters and their friend and each one sort of discovers who they are and finds a man. It's really good.
Lyss R: Right now I'm finishing up the Twilight saga though.
Kathy N: Is the trilogy by Nora Roberts?
Lyss R: Yeah.
Kathy N: No way, she's my favorite author.
Lyss R: Seriously?
Kathy N: Yeah. I'm reading her book Tribute right now.
Lyss R: OMG, I love her too. I haven't read a lot of her books yet, I used to read a lot of joanna lindsay
Kathy N: Lol, I've read a few of JL's. If you haven't read the Chesapeake Bay saga by nora roberts, you absolutely should, it's one of her best. It's actually about 4 guys, not girls.
Lyss R: I'll write it down so the next time I go to the book store I can get them.
Kathy N: So how are you liking twilight?
Lyss R: I like it. I didn't think I would, but my friend talked me into it, and I actually really love it. It's quite a bit different from JL and NR but still very good.
Kathy N: The Host by Stephanie Meyer is really good too. I think she's my new fav. author, but she has nothing new out.
Lyss R: Really? I haven't heard of her having another book other than the Twilight books. I'll have to look around for it.
Lyss R: LOL, omg, I can't believe we already have something in common. Nobody every reads the stuff I do, people think I'm nuts, because I could be wat ching a movie instead.
Kathy N: Movies are great, but books are a good escape too. Can't bring your tv with you everywhere, but you can bring a book just about anywhere. I read a lot when I'm babysitting my gfs brother.
Lyss R: Just wait until I tell Jesse you like trashy love novels too!

Lyss R: So did you date any of them?
Kathy N: Nah, I like to keep my bfs/gfs in close range.
Kathy N: Welll..I think I'm still Frankie's "gf" ...but I think that was to scare some other girl off or something. I don't rememeber, but it's always this joke that we are still together, but we never ever talk. Lol.
Lyss R: So how did you all meet? I mean, a concert or something?
Kathy N: Actually, online...but I don't remember how..ina chat or something maybe...I can't remember. And me and Alli have always just talked to them and thought, hey, we don't know who they really are, but it's fun to talk to them, so who cares.
Lyss R: If it was me, I wouldn't believe it, that's for sure. I probably would have been mean.
Kathy N: I look at it this way...don't care if they are famous or not, they are our online buddies just like any other people we meet in a chat. So doesn't matter to me.
Kathy N: I can't imagine a teenie bothering to keep this going for 5 years, but at the same time, there's been no proof, no phone number, no web cam or anything over the course of 5 years...
Kathy N: It could go either way.
Lyss R: Wow. I just can't believe you have known each other for that long.

Kathy N: I think it's been even longer than 5 years...because I think I used to talk to them for about a year before Alli ever did...
